Dangerous Goods Competency Based Training and Assessment for Shippers by Air (ICAO/IATA Edition 65)
This course may be used for both initial and recurrent training.
This course is intended for hazmat/DG employees who prepare shipments for transport by air in accordance with the requirements of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), as well as the requirements in Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR) and the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Technical Instructions.
This course does not cover the more detailed requirements for the shipment of radioactive materials under the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

- Documentation (Shipper’s Declaration for DG & air waybill)
Target Audience:
Hazmat / DG employees and their supervisors who work for shippers, carriers, freight forwarders or third-party logistics companies, and who handle, pack, mark, label, prepare/validate shipping documents, and/or offer dangerous goods for transport by air.
This training is designed for shippers/packers previously identified as categories 1 and 3 as defined in the IATA DGR in Table 1.5A.

The current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is required for this course.
